Hey, I’m Julian North.
I’m kind of a magician when it comes to bringing your structures and spaces to life.
Some people walk into a room and observe the people. I walk into a room and observe the light and composition.
I’m guilty of having a camera roll that’s purely aesthetic.
I see things others don’t — the interplay of shadows and light, the textures, and the materials. This is what drew me to architectural photography. I realized I could take photos that show others how I see the world (while also making a career out of it).
I work with architects and designers to photograph their commercial, residential and hospitality projects. Taking different angles in the natural light, I’ll capture the meticulous details and aesthetics of your design.
If we work together, I’ll bring your interior and exterior projects to life.
-
Photographing the pure expression of your architectural and interior design.
-
Composition and balance are always my focus.
-
Images that give a clear idea of what it’s like to be in your space.
Not everyone can capture the flow and energy of a room, but somehow Julian can.
Design, architecture and photography all have something in common: Every decision matters, every detail counts. My job is to determine how the natural light and the raw materials of your structure/design interact and then shoot the precise angles that will give justice to your vision.
Kind words
Julian’s images of our recently finished 15 story hotel were just what we needed to finally show what we’ve built. He compiled a mix of photos of the exterior and interior that really captured the beauty of the place. The shots he got of the rooms are definitely going to attract our first customers! It was a lot of work, and we were surprised by how quick the turnaround to receiving the digital gallery was. Thank you Julian. The photos are now on our website and we are ready to open our doors!
I am so impressed by Julian’s professionalism and talent. As an interior designer, being able to see my work in photos gives me the ability to share my projects with the world. I’ve already signed Julian for my next project. He is remarkable!
Thank you Julian for your keen eye for detail. I am beyond pleased by what you captured of our gastronomy restaurant. I know these photos are going to help us scale our business.
Julian is the only photographer I will use from now on. His photos were sharp, his communication was clear, and I just love the results.
