The practice
I make the small details feel big, and the quiet moments feel noticed.
I’m a total sucker for romance. Honestly, I think that’s what drew me to shoot weddings. It’s hard to describe the feeling of living inside of someone’s fairytale in real time — every detail intentionally picked, from a single flower to the color of the table cloths set under the twinkle lights.
Being a romantic is probably why I moved to California from London in adulthood. Was it the steep, colorful streets of San Francisco lined with painted Victorian houses, or maybe just the Napa wine? I don’t know, but I love it here.
