White peonies, lace, and seafoam — what a dream!

They forgot the camera was there altogether.

Before the reception took place and the sun went down, I had them sneak away with me to the Big Sur coastline. They walked along the rocks, whispering sweet-nothings that couldn’t be heard above the crashing waves. It was one of those intimate moments where they forgot the camera was there altogether.

Sofia and Rui exchanged vows inside of a cathedral dripping in white flowers. I had never seen anything like it.

Sigh, it was truly a treat for me to photograph such a romantic scene. It was one of those raw and emotional ceremonies where everyone was locked in. So heartfelt! The reception was just as elegant as the ceremony, and Rui and Sofia were happier than ever. Every little detail of the reception held an intention, and it just made the celebration that much more memorable.
