I believe it’s the real moments we treasure and I want to capture what makes your family truly yours. That’s the gift of doing a family portrait session with me.
What to expect at the session?

Sessions are 90 minutes long, with short breaks included.
Don’t stress if your kids aren’t in the mood to be photographed, I’ve been doing this a while and I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to get participation. Plus, we love authenticity! Outfit changes and snack breaks are suggested!

Once your kids are warmed up to me, I’ll invite you to move around your home organically.
Let the kids play. Read to them, let them color or jump on the bed. I’ll give you some guidance, but I rarely pose you or ask you to sit still. Shoots are dynamic, fun, and genuine.

If there’s an outdoor space you’d like to explore, we’ll spend the second half outside.
The kids will be happy to frolic around — and those make the best shots anyway!
When and where?
I shoot in the Hudson Valley area from April to November. Portraits are taken at your home or an outdoor space nearby. It’s important that you feel at home, and I’m gracious that you welcome me in!
InquireI believe a photo session isn’t complete until it’s hanging on the wall, so each shoot comes with a complete set of prints, and albums are available a la carte.
When do we get the photos back?
The question everyone’s dying to know! I’ll send over a few sneak peeks within 48 hours of our shoot. Then, you can expect the link to the full digital gallery within 1-2 weeks.
